|College conducted three week Industrial training for 7th Semester (Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology branch) students. Training included concepts of Core Java & Advanced Java. Training was organized by Ex-vice president Zensar Technologies Mr. Prem Apte and the instructor for the training was Mr. Kedar Tokekar, who is corporate Java Trainer and Expert. Around 100 students participated in the training. Mr. Tokekar conducted the practical and theory sessions for the same. Training improved the programming skills of the students and prepared a solid base for major project.|
Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) training delivers essential technology skills and an industry-recognized certification to engineering students in order to enhance their understanding of IT fundamentals. S.D. Bansal College of Technology is an authorized testing center for conducting MTA Certification exams thus helping students determine their future study path while boosting their confidence and preparing them for IT career paths.
Students of Computer Science & Engineering and Inforamtion Technology participated in the training. After the training, students appeared into Online MTA Certification exam and get their certificates from Microsoft.

On completion of the workshop, the participants are provided with various resource kits and certificates like Cambridge Certification for teachers, MxLA Certificate and certificate from Dale Carnegie's international institute.|
|A one week training program was organized by National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal for development of " Core Teaching Skills". The Expert lectures were conducted for about 25 faculty members of various department. The program was specifically designed for engineering college teachers to develop in them requisite knowledge, skills and desirable attitudes to enable them to deliver content proficiently. It proved as a very successful program for the teachers from various disciplines who wish to continue in this noble profession.|

A workshop was also held by Science Centre Indore, where basic concepts and principles of Science was explained.|
SD Bansal College of Technology & KCB Technical Academy Indore, jointly organized two days workshop on ‘Soft Computing’ during Feb 4-5,2011. The keynote speakers of the workshop were Dr. N Dagdee , Director Sushila Devi Bansal College of Technology, Dr. Suresh Jain, KCB Technical Academy & Dr.Aruna Tiwari & Ms. Anuradha Purohit, Associate Professor, SGSITS, Indore.
The objective of this workshop was to give exposure to the faculty from various engineering colleges on emerging field of soft computing .The workshop was very helpful to solve the real life problems using the methodologies of soft computing. The principal constituents of soft computing were artificial intelligence, fuzzy logic, neuro computing & genetic algorithms.The aim of workshop was to exploit the tolerance for imprecision & uncertainity & to employ mechanisms/techniques for information processing.
|The technical festival and annual day function was organized on 27th to 29th October 2010. Various technical and non technical events like Paper Presentation, Virtual(Mock) Campus, S/W Quiz, PS2 Games, Electronics Junkyard, Woodball, Skating, Scary House, Gully Football, Slow Cycle Race, Creative Art, Petancue etc. Presentation and tutorial talks by academicians and experts from industry spread the knowledge to all participants. |The college opened a student branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in year 2008 and since then our college activities under the membership of IEEE are being continued with renewed vigor and emulation, year on year. . IEEE membership helps support the IEEE mission of promoting the engineering profession for the benefit of humanity and the profession. Membership also enables affordable student membership, funds university program accreditation and helps introduce technology careers to young people around the world.|
